9:30 a.m. Repairing the Breach Conference

A one day conference on “repairing the breach” which seems to exists between police and the communities they serve. Co-hosted by Calvary Episcopal Church in D.C. and Wade in the Water, our ministry for racial justice, the conference takes place in the undercroft from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and features the following panelists: The Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas, Canon
Theologian at Washington National Cathedral and a longtime friend of Grace Church; Chief Brian K. Jordan, Chief of Police and Executive Director for Safety and Security at Howard University; and, Mr. Wesley Lowery, a journalist with the Washington Post. Admission to the conference is free, but you do need to register by emailing The Rev. Dr. Gayle Fisher-Stewart at gfisher143@verizon.net.
