Walking the Labyrinth for Racial Justice

Sunday, March 18 @ 11:45 a.m.

Join members of the clergy and Wade in the Water for an intergenerational prayer walk activity.  Since the 4th century Christians have walked the labyrinth as a form of prayer and mediation.  Though it may look a like a maze, the labyrinth has only one way in and one way out, symbolizing the spiritual journey that begins with movement inward and then outward.  A large canvas labyrinth will be present in the Undercroft on March 18.  Guided prayer walks utilizing the labyrinth and contemplative activities geared towards racial justice will be offered for all ages in the Undercroft following the 10:30 service.  Parents, please accompany and participate with your children in this activity.  For more information, contact Rev. Amanda.
