11:30 a.m. Because of Them We Can: Celebrating Children of the Civil Rights Movement

In celebration of Black History Month, we invite church families to participate in an eent which focuses on children of the civil rights movement. We invite you all to purchase a copy of ‘Child of the Civil Rights Movement,’ written by children’s book oauthor Paula Young Shelton, daughter of Civil Rights activist Andrew Young. Join us for a discussion of this engaging and award winning book following the 10:30 a.m. service in the Multipurpose Room of the Parish Hall building. Refreshment will be served.

Grace Episcopal Church
Grace Church Road, located off of Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, near the intersection of Georgia Ave. and 16th Street.
