6:30 p.m. WITW Potluck & Discussion

We look forward to welcoming Nicole C. Lee, Esq., a diversity and inclusion expert, leadership coach, and nationally recognized speaker, who will lead us in a discussion of popular misconceptions on what children “know” about diversity and identity. We will discuss popular myths about identity and child development and talk about what children know at different stages. We will get to the bottom of the question “Why is it so hard to talk to my children about the ‘-isms?’” Parents will have a chance to pose tough questions and get on the spot coaching. Childcare will be provided. Dinner will be provided. Please bring a dessert or beverage to share. RSVP.
