2018-19 Program Year Theme: Faith & Fellowship

The Year of Faith & Fellowship

Here at Grace Church, our Vision for the Future is to be that “city on a hill” where people of all races and cultures can come to build their relationships with God and others.

And, this year, we want to intentionally focus on building those relationships.

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry has recently invited Episcopalians around the country to recommit ourselves to following the “Way of Love,” by gathering in community to deepen our connection with the Lord, and that is exactly what we hope to do. We want to get to know one another, and most importantly, get to know God, as God is revealed to us through Jesus Christ. As Jesus, himself, said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Therefore, our theme for the program year is Faith & Fellowship.

From September through June, we will have many different ways for all of us to grow in our faith and deepen our friendships, and we invite you get involved. Join us for:

• Monthly fellowship events, beginning with Ministry Sunday, and including the Annual Harvest Dinner, as well as special gatherings during the season of Lent.

• Dinner groups, a new offering this year, gathering together in the homes of parishioners over the course of the program year for food, fun and social time.

• Second Sunday Suppers, a delicious meal hosted by Rev. Andrew and his wife, Susan, on the second Sunday of every month, immediately following the 5:30 service.

• Weekly worship on Sunday mornings or afternoons, as well as other special services throughout the year.

• Adult Forums, held on Sunday mornings, which explore a different topic of life and faith each week.

• Small study groups that delve deeper into issues of faith and spirituality through book discussions and presentations.

This year, we hope you will get to know your neighbor and get to know your God.
