Join us on Sunday, February 11 from 3:00 pm -4:30 pm in the sanctuary at Grace Episcopal Church for an author event sponsored by Grace’s racial justice ministry, Wade in the Water, featuring Rev. Duke Kwon, one of the co-authors of the book Reparations: A Christian Call for Repentance and Repair. Rev. Kwon will be discussing key points from his book on both the biblical case for reparations and practical actions we can take towards repair. Time for Q&A will be included. The event will be followed by a reception in the undercroft. We will wrap up in plenty of time for you to be home for the Super Bowl kick off!

Rev. Kwon is the lead pastor at Grace Meridian Hill, a neighborhood congregation in the Grace DC network in Washington, DC. He is active in public conversations around race, equity, and racial repair in the American church, and he writes and lectures on these topics around the country. His work has appeared in the Washington Post, Christianity Today, and The Witness. Duke received his B.A. from Brown University and M.Div. and Th.M. (New Testament) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He lives in the District of Columbia with his wife and three children.
